I wanted to reach out personally with some news, and to say thank you.

Serving you through Ahner Security has meant a lot to me. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with so many great families and businesses, and I’m genuinely grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me and our team.

As I look ahead to retirement, I’ve made the decision to sell Ahner Security. Effective January 1, 2026, Ahner Security will become part of Alarm Man of NC, a trusted local security company based in Durham, North Carolina.

This wasn’t a decision I made lightly. I wanted to be sure that whoever took over would care for you the same way we always have—reliably, honestly, and with your safety as the priority. I truly believe Alarm Man of NC is the right fit, and you will be in great, trusted hands.

To make sure the transition feels seamless:

• I’ll be staying part-time to help with service and support.
• Our technicians are joining the Alarm Man team, so you’ll continue seeing familiar faces and getting the same level of care.

And most importantly you don’t need to do anything at this time.
Your service will continue as usual, and beginning 1/1/2026, phone calls, billing, and support will flow directly through Alarm Man of NC.

If you have questions or just want to talk through the change, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m proud of the work we’ve done together, and I’m confident this next chapter will take great care of you.
